Union Label Week is Sept. 3 - Sept. 9, 2018
From Labor Day, Monday, September 3, through Sunday September 9, 2018 American labor will observe Union Label Week—the time traditionally set aside for union families and all consumers to make a special effort to support good jobs by looking for union-made goods and union-produced services when they shop.

In these difficult times, with constant attacks on workers’ rights and union rights, we need to make an extra effort to look for the quality and value represented in union-made products and services. When you buy union, you’re supporting good jobs in American communities, jobs that provide living wages and benefits, safe working conditions and dignity and respect for work.

So, please join with us on Labor Day and the week that follows to celebrate the skills of union workers and honor the work they do by looking for union-made goods and services.

Below is a list of some union-made products you can use to celebrate your Labor Day! Enjoy your holiday and don’t forget that America is at its best when we buy and say "Union Yes!"

Sincerely,
Richard Kline, President, Union Label and Services Trades Department, AFL-CIO

The Union Label and Service Trades Department, AFL-CIO, was founded in 1909 to promote the products and services produced in America by union members -- especially those products and services identified by a union label, shop card, store card and service button. We are supported by per capita payments from AFL-CIO National and International Unions.
